The first ever automatic transmission stylish recreational vehicle in Bangladesh
Rangs Limited the sole distributor of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in Bangladesh, has expanded it’s Sportero double-cab pick-up range with three engines, one of which is also available with an auto transmission, alongside the original 2.5-litre turbo diesel launched here in 2010. Sportero is a magnificently capable off-roader – as any direct descendant of the Pajero should be. The vehicle is very much suitable for a daily use, long drive on rough terrain or for the people who visits distant factory on a regular basis.
Sportero begins with a 2.5-litre Turbo/Non Turbo diesel version, an entry–level model available only in 4WD and with a five-speed transmission single cabin or for the driver who wants a spacious double-cab.
The 3.2-litre DI-D is the pick of the range - a robust, thumping great four-cylinder, inter cooled turbo diesel with a 98.5mm bore and 105mm stroke.
This engine was introduced on the Pajero SUV way back in 1981 and is the
biggest diesel yet in a Mitsubishi pick-up. It delivers 118kW at
3500rpm and 343Nm at 2000rpm and runs very quietly thanks to
common-rail, electronic fuel-injection that delivers a small "pilot
injection" of fuel to start combustion before the main fuel-shot Asbig-inch V6 engines go the 3.5 MPI.
The 3.2 DI-D is a class leader in terms of torque, emissions, strength and durability; it has proved itself in the large SUV segment.
It drives through a five-speed manual gearbox or 4-speed automatic with a transfer case that will deliver all-wheel drive in high or low range. The rear differential can be locked. At an equal price of 1500 cc Sedan car you can own a Brand New Automatic Four Wheel Drive.
